Mohammad Zulfiquar Hossain is a professor of the Department of Public Administration, Islamic University Bangladesh. His home district is Shariatpur. He holds his B.S.S (Hons) and M.S.S in Public Administration from Dhaka University. He achieved his Ph.D from Islamic University Bangladesh. He was the chair of the Department of Public Administration, Islamic University Bangladesh from 2017-2020.His research pursuits are focused on governance, social development, planetary wellbeing, women development and mental development. He teaches courses and seminars in the above areas. He serves as the editorial board of various research journals. He has published three books and more than 30 articles. He also involved in various voluntary organizations as an advisor. Recently he has appointed as a moderator of Islamic University Debating Society (IUDS). He has attended many seminar in nation and abroad. He is recently involved in Erasmus+ project RESHAPE (Regenerating Socio-Cultural Sustainability and Planetary Wellbeing in Higher Education: Global Partnership) as a member of Islamic University Partner, Bangladesh
